Your Mission

You’ll be the force behind the backend architecture that makes all of this magic possible. Your work will shape how data flows, how AI models are used in context, and how performance scales across users and industries.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our Node.js + NestJS backend.
• Design and implement APIs for seamless AI widget integration into client platforms.
• Model and manage structured data in PostgreSQL using TypeORM.
• Harness DynamoDB for NoSQL needs that demand speed and flexibility.
• Leverage Redis to reduce load and serve blazing-fast results.
• Build smart workflows for AI interaction: prompt management, model switching, and contextual memory handling.
• Integrate with top-tier LLM providers: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Grok.
• Handle file storage and metadata using AWS S3.
• Collaborate closely with our frontend and design teams to bring the full AI agent experience to life.
• Write elegant, maintainable, and testable code — and make your mark on our code review culture.

What You Bring

• Senior-level experience in backend development, especially with Node.js and NestJS.
• Proficiency in clean architecture, dependency injection, and modern design patterns.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, TypeORM, and experience optimizing complex queries.
• Comfortable working with DynamoDB, especially for high-performance, distributed systems.
• Experience integrating and caching data with Redis.
• Exposure to LLM integration and AI APIs (bonus if you’ve played with embeddings or fine-tuned models).
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture — especially around AWS S3.
• You know your way around REST and GraphQL, and have strong opinions on both.
