Context:

Within the Management of Information Systems (MIS) department, in an international and multicultural environment, you will contribute to the evolution of projects, and the building and maintenance of the IT infrastructure on-premises and in the Cloud. You will also actively contribute to the release of the applications in support of the Engineering and Professional Services teams.

Hierarchy and interactions:

• Reports to the DPS manager
• Interacts with the departments: Engineering, Professional Services, TI, DevOps; MIS teams

Autonomy of the position:

• Individual contributor

Mission:

• Act as the primary owner of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), overseeing the management and execution of centralized Windows Updates and approved software deployments across the organization.
• Serve as a Senior Engineer responsible for maintaining the stability and reliability of the production infrastructure that relies on wide-distributed Active Directory Domain Services a critical component of the company's security and operations.
• Proactively monitor the health, replication, and configuration of infrastructure components using monitoring tools, ensuring any issues are quickly identified and addressed.
• Continuously refine mission-critical system configurations to strengthen security in alignment with CIS/Tenable benchmarks and recognized best practices.
• Support non-production, but critical Oracle Databases installations by automating deployments, writing backup scripts, optimizing DB performance, and ensuring regular security patching.
• Gain expertise in a company-built web application based on .NET/C# and provide consultations to Professional Services and Engineering teams as a subject matter expert in Microsoft technologies that intersect with the functionality of the company's product.
• Handle tickets sent to the MIS team: requests, infra changes, deployments, and critical incidents.
• Deploying applications (releases) during working and non-working hours and on certain weekends.
• Actively contribute to IT projects to keep modernizing the infrastructure and its documentation.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise technology stack, including but not limited to:
• System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Active Directory (AD DS)
• Group Policies
• Windows Server OS
• Hyper-V
• Certification Authority
• IIS
• Azure Entra ID
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• In-depth understanding of core system protocols such as DFSR, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, SSL/TLS, NTP, WINS, SMB, RADIUS, etc.
• Proficient in using Microsoft diagnostic and core utilities, with a solid understanding of their outputs, including tools like dcdiag, repadmin, dsrm, ntdsutil, dfsrdiag, netsh, sfc, wmic, diskpart, and more.
• Oracle Database administration skills, including expertise with tools like Opatch, RMAN, data pump, OUI, tablespace management, adrci, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Zabbix and OpenSearch, including fine-tuning Zabbix templates and a solid understanding of core concepts like item prototypes, macros, and trigger expressions.
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure and IaaS, including AWS or GCP.
• Solid network knowledge with the ability to perform in-depth service troubleshooting using tools such as Fiddler, Wireshark, and Sysinternals utilities.

Would be a plus:

• Microsoft SCCM Certification
• Azure DevOps (TFS) installation, support, and backups.
• Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation)
• Docker experience.
• Microsoft Intune knowledge
• Altaro \ Veeam Backup knowledge.
