Context:

Our PLM solution supports hundreds of companies around the globe in the Food & Beverage, Cosmetics and Chemical industries, manages their new product R&D and development process, regulatory compliance, and quality management needs.

Due to strong business growth, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Specialist to join our Professional Services team. You will be part of a customer-oriented international team to support the solution.

Key responsibilities:

• Verify and test that any bug reported in the process are properly resolved.
• Write and execute test cases against the configuration and customization of our solutions to the customer. Ensure the functionality provided to the customer reflects the requirements provided.
• Investigate existing issues and report bugs to the Professional Services team.
• Participate in project team activities related to the customer project execution.
• Provide Technical Support to other departments (Help Desk, Technical Implementation Teams).

Hierarchy and interactions:

This position will report to the Technical Manager of the related team.

The expectation is to interact with other departments such as the Technical Implementation, Help Desk, and Product teams.

Missions:

• The Quality Specialist’s focus is to plan and execute all those tasks required to test and validate that any change introduced in our products complies with the QA policies established in our development process.
• Monitor the health of our configured solutions before new configuration or fixes are delivered to our customers. He will catch and report potential regression issues in the application before they reach the customer.

Requirements and skills:

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Understanding of QA and software development life cycles.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MSSQL or Oracle preferably).
• Knowledge of OOP languages, C# preferably.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• You can prioritize and tackle several tasks at the same time.
• You possess “get things done attitude”.
• You are independent worker, but you can identify the exact point in time when you should ask for help.
• You are open-minded for learning new technologies and processes.
• Strong analytical skills, systematic approach, and independency in fulfilling duties.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff.
• Fluent in English, Additional language skills are a plus.
• Experience with other different types of testing (unit, performance, security).
• Experience with Microsoft tools like Visual Studio, TFS, Azure.
