System Engineer

Accordia Group LLC is a well-established USA software engineering company, employing over 50 software developers in our branch in Nis, Serbia.

We are looking for highly motivated employees for our office in Nis in the following position: System Engineer.

The ideal candidate hired into this position should have the following key skills/experience:

• University degree in computer science, telecommunication, micro-electronic or electronic engineering (or equivalent)
• Passion to understand, learn, and evaluate new technologies
• Highly responsible, self-disciplined, motivational, creative and a quick learner
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

We as a company are interested in finding new candidates that have or are interested in learning:

• Working knowledge in building and maintaining highly available systems on Docker/Kubernetes
• Working knowledge on Amazon EC2 and Azure cloud platforms
• Administering and maintaining Linux environments, specifically Redhat/CentOS; have or acquire a working knowledge level
• Administration of Windows Server 2012/16/19 versions, ActiveDirectory, DNS, Exchange Server
• Working with virtual platforms and architectures; preferred VMWare and KVM
• Have/Learn network troubleshooting skills, working with routers/switches and TCP/IP protocols
• Have/Acquire experience working with WEB servers, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, IIS
• Have/Acquire experience working with Version Control and CI tools (Hudson/Jenkins, Team City, TFS, VSTS)
• Have/Acquire working knowledge of Ansible, Python and Bash shell scripting
• Have/Acquire working knowledge with databases Mongo, MSSQL, Sybase ASE and MySQL
• Have/Acquire working knowledge of IDS, Firewall appliances and IT Security
• Have/Acquire working experience in DevOPS, supporting development and production IT environments, working with enterprise grade equipment and procedures
