Software Development Engineer

We are intensively looking for pro-active Middle Software Development Engineer to join Navigational Simulator team. The candidate will work on market lead product Navi-Trainer Professional that actively in use for seafarers’ education in thousands maritime academies around the globe. The reason of hiring is active business and development team grow.

You will work in Scrum team on complex distributed system with tasks in many different domains from visual system to hardware integrations. The team believes in incremental delivery and work in close collaboration with customers.

Company-wide communications are in English. We strive to use only English for written technical communication.

This is a permanent role, the location is in Belgrade, Serbia or Helsinki, Finland.

What you will do:

• Participation in development for navigational simulator
• Development in C++ 11/14, C#
• Code review
• Development under Windows
• Support legacy code

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ work experience in a relevant or related field
• Good knowledge of C++, C#
• Knowledge of the basics of algorithms and structures
• Communicability
• Experience with git
• English at intermediate level or higher
