Senior .NET Developer

About the client and the project: Our client is the company from Switzerland that developed software solution for archiving and evaluating the data from the digital tachographs. They offer a complete solution for the legal requirements in this domain. The software is characterized by a simple, clear and transparent layout and processes the legally relevant data in a fast and efficient manner. Thanks to this professional and high-quality archiving and evaluation software, driver, company and vehicle data can be safely archived and evaluated. This solution enables companies with several locations to clearly manage their driver and vehicle fleets. In this way smaller external companies can also be managed easily and efficiently.

Now, we are in the process of forming a team in Novi Sad that will help the client in the process of developing new, better quality, more stable, efficient and scalable software. The existing solution is stable and in regular use by 600+ satisfied companies, but there is a need to replace the existing solution with a new one. The project's objectives put on focus the quality and stability of the solution. That means that we are in the search of experienced .NET Developer.

What will be the main responsibilities:

• Improving user experience (look&feel)
• Working on new requirements for integration with other systems
• Design of new software architecture and replacing monolithic architecture that makes extension and further development difficult
• Upgradeing the database version
• Migration of an existing solution to the new one (data migration, business logic migration)
• Implementation will be based on the newest technologies

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
• More than 5 years of experience in programming; profound software engineering knowledge and experience in .NET framework
• Experience with ASP.NET Web API
• Knowledge of Entity framework
• Database: preferably MySQL and solid knowledge of relational database (SQL Server) is required
• Infrastructure: Infrastructure (not mandatory, but nice to have): setting up and managing CI/CD environment in Azure DevOps, setting up and managing development, testing, and production environments in Azure, setting up and managing MySQL Server
• Experience and familiarity with continuous integration toolsets
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-oriented
• Very good knowledge of English
