Summary

For our parent company Proximus Group, an international telecommunication company, we are looking for a proactive individual to fill in the Medior/Senior Full Stack Developer position who will be working on developing and maintaining the Cockpits tools for our sales agents and shops.  

Your Job

• You support the design and development of high-quality frontend applications following best practices to ensure high availability, scalability and resilience. 
• You develop and maintain Angular web applications and Java-based microservices. 
• You write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks. 
• You participate in the release process, ensuring smooth deployments. 
• You collaborate with the team in technical analysis and grooming sessions. 
• You troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure a high uptime and good performance. 
• You challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient complex solutions. 
• You create and maintain technical documentation for all code changes and updates. 
• You stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies and suggest new approaches to improve efficiency and productivity. 
• You participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
• You participate and contribute to the integration testing of the developed features. 

Your Profile

• You have bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• You have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Frontend development using Angular.
• You have good knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS. 
• You have 2 - 3 years of experience with building performant RESTful APIs in Java (experience with GraphQL is a plus). 
• You have 2 to 3+ years of experience in SQL and NOSQL stores (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, Couchbase, etc.).
• You are familiar with Git, Jenkins and Agile/DevOps methodologies .
• You are familiar with automated unit test frameworks like Junit and Mockito. 
• You have experience with building tools like Maven or Gradle. 
• You have experience with Microservices Architecture. 
• You have a good understanding of Agile methodology. 
• You can work autonomously on development tasks and troubleshooting. 
• You have a proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal, and strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• You possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
• You are fluent in English.
