This individual will be responsible for the development of front-end code using modern web application frameworks like React, Vue, and Angular. Likewise, they must have a strong skill set in front-end technologies like CSS, SASS, SCSS, HTML, and JavaScript. This person will be working in an Agile environment and will have opportunities to design and build web applications for major system features, integrations with web services and many other types of complex software systems. This role is work from home for a US based client.
The Front-End Developer Position will have the following responsibilities:
- Work with an existing Agile team in all aspects of the SDLC
- Create, document, and understand software/system requirements utilizing Agile best practices
- Work with peers, testers, and operations to test and validate working software
- Design and implement secure and scalable software solutions
- Participate in requirements discovery and analysis
- Drive, participate, and leverage UI Test Automation frameworks
The ideal candidate should have some or all the following skills:
- Experience with writing high-quality, semantic, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Experience with front-end frameworks like - React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience with creating highly-performant, optimized websites
- Experience with consuming REST API using sync/async methods
- Experience with version control (Git/Bitbucket) and branching strategies
- Experience with front end unit testing frameworks
- Experience with HTML5 and web template engines
- Experience with CSS3 and CSS Preprocessors - SASS, LESS, etc.
