DevOps Engineer
Your Tasks
- As DevOps Engineer you help integrating (manage operations) Tools and Applications into the TTTech Auto development proces
- You are involved in the tool evaluation process as consultant and are later responsible for rollout and operations of tools
- You manage a professional relationship with all stakeholders with a high level of social and technical competence
- Together with software developers ensure that processes, tools and applications provide the best developer experience
- You help develop a state-of-the-art development environment and provide it to our engineers
- You help to increase development performance with automation tools and frameworks for CX
- You help to reduce manual efforts by automating processes and workflows
- You implement monitoring solutions to ensure quality of service
- You implement performance analysis to identify bottlenecks and support demand prediction
- You investigate technical issues and develop a sustainable solution
- You provide support to developers
- “Governance and Tool Landscape integration” shall be responsible for releasing a seamlessly integrated tool landscape to the customers of the org unit. Responsibilities are:
- Demand Management
- Business analysis
- Service catalog
- Service design
- Service level management
- Monitoring
- Architecture management
- "Management per tool” shall be responsible for the technical implementation of the tool according a tool lifecycleand provide the tool to the customers. This includes implementation of the requirements specified by “Governance and Tool Landscape integration”
- Deployment management
- Infrastructure and platform management
- Software development and management
Your Profile
- Profound understanding and supporting of the DevOps Engineer mindset in agile and standard setup
- You appreciate DevOps Engineer and automation as key enabler for all efficient activities
- Your working style is self-motivated and structured
- You are proactive and service-oriented
- Good technical understanding and analytical thinking
- Good scripting skills (preferably Python)
- Good programming and scripting skills (preferably Python and Bash)
- Practical experience with automation of workflows and CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins)
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible, Vagrant etc.) and monitoring (Checkmk, Prometheus, etc.)
- Experience with containerized/virtualized environment (e.g. Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes)
- Ability to aggregate and present data in structured reports
