Employment type: Full-time position through an employment contract.

At IGT PlayDigital, we design and build mobile and web casino games played by millions of players worldwide. We’re searching for a talented Backend Software Engineer based in Belgrade who is passionate about gaming and ensuring seamless player experiences.

What You Will Do

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will develop and optimize server-side game logic and simulations for real-money iGaming products. You’ll work closely with designers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable game features.

• Develop and maintain backend systems and game logic
• Build and optimize game simulations
• Collaborate with game designers and cross-functional teams
• Write clean code, unit tests, and participate in code reviews
• Solve technical challenges and support timely delivery

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience (strong OOP/OOD) within the iGaming industry
• Strong Java experience (JavaScript is a plus)
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree (Math, ETF, FON)
• Experience with server-side development (full-stack is a plus)
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and testing practices
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS/GCP) and tools like Jenkins or Maven
