Job description
We have partnered with Smurfit Kappa, a product packaging company and we are looking for SAP FICO Consultant to join their Global IS team. The role will work collaboratively with SAP roles across Functional (Supply Chain) and Technical (ABAP, Basis, Security & Controls) teams.
Your accountabilities
- Managing the end-users support requests through to resolution
- Performing all necessary steps leading to the delivery of solutions (both on support & during projects)
- Collecting needs and conducting workshops
- Analysing gaps and designing solutions
- Customizing and writing ABAP specifications
- Performing unit tests
- Training and assisting end-users during the process
- Completing documentation and the effective transfer of internal knowledge
- Understanding and safeguarding the principles of our SAP Core Solution in order to be able to operate efficiently
- Ensuring proper application of all procedures in place
Qualifications, knowledge, and experience:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems or Finance
- Excellent SAP Finance & Controlling knowledge
- Good knowledge of SOX procedures
- Experience of Stakeholder Management
- Experience of delivery under pressure within tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills, specially demonstrated through experiences to fully interpret end users’ needs and the delivery of appropriate solutions
- Excellent communication skills & business English (both speaking and written)
- Experience of working in an international environment
- Proactive team player
- Fluency in another language is desirable
- Experience in delivering IS solutions is desirable
- Knowledge of the IMG is desirable
The functional scope covers various areas of finance and controlling, including general ledger accounting, account payables and receivables, asset accounting, bank reconciliation, tax handing, electronic invoicing, treasury and risk management, in-house cash, cost centre accounting, product costing, credit lease management.
The FICO SAP team is supporting 38 countries where SAP has already been implemented as well as deploying SAP in new countries and/or entities.
