About Edda

Edda is a fast-growing SaaS company building the operating platform for professional investment teams. Our technology is used by Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Corporate Venture Capital teams around the world to manage their deal flow, portfolios, contacts, documents, and investment processes in one place.

We work with more than 150 investment organizations, ranging from independent VC funds to major financial institutions and global corporations. Our mission is simple: help investment professionals spend less time managing fragmented tools and data, and more time making better decisions.

Edda is an international company with teams and operations across the United States, France, and Serbia. We work in a highly international environment, and English is our working language across the company. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from different countries, backgrounds, and functions on a daily basis.

Our culture is built around ownership, ambition, pragmatism, and trust. We value people who take responsibility for what they build, communicate openly, challenge existing assumptions, and focus on solving real problems rather than simply following processes. We move quickly, but we also care deeply about quality, reliability, and the long-term maintainability of our product.

We believe good ideas can come from anywhere in the company. Engineers, QA, product managers, designers, and customer-facing teams work closely together, and we expect everyone to contribute beyond the narrow boundaries of their role. Curiosity, autonomy, and a willingness to continuously improve are important parts of how we work.

Because Edda serves demanding professional and institutional customers, quality is a core part of our product culture. Reliability, security, performance, and attention to detail matter enormously to us. Our users rely on Edda every day to manage critical investment workflows and sensitive information, so we take the stability and consistency of the platform seriously.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a QA Engineer to strengthen our engineering team and help us maintain a high standard across the Edda platform. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to test new features, identify edge cases and regressions, improve our testing processes and tooling, and help ensure that every release delivers the level of quality our customers expect.

If you enjoy understanding complex products, finding problems others might miss, and working with an international team where you can have a real impact on the product and the way we build it, Edda could be a great place for you.

About the Position

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join Edda’s engineering team and help us continuously improve the quality, reliability, and overall user experience of our platform.

This is not a role where QA happens only at the end of the development cycle. You will be involved throughout the product development process, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand new features, anticipate potential issues, define relevant test scenarios, and make sure we ship with confidence.

You will be responsible for testing new functionality across the Edda platform, validating bug fixes, identifying regressions, and exploring edge cases that may not be covered by the initial specifications. You will also help us improve our existing QA methodology and progressively strengthen our automated testing capabilities.

Edda is a large and evolving SaaS platform with many interconnected features, permissions, workflows, integrations, and customer configurations. This means the role requires more than simply following predefined test cases. We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a product works, questioning assumptions, reproducing complex problems, and thinking about how real users may interact with the system in unexpected ways.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Testing new features before they are released to production.
  • Creating, maintaining, and executing clear test scenarios and test cases.
  • Performing regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Identifying, documenting, and helping prioritize bugs and inconsistencies.
  • Working directly with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
  • Reviewing product specifications and designs from a QA perspective before development is completed.
  • Testing complex user workflows, permissions, data configurations, and edge cases.
  • Helping improve our release validation process and overall QA standards.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of automated tests.
  • Monitoring production quality and helping investigate issues reported by customers.
  • Continuously looking for ways to make our testing processes faster, more reliable, and more scalable.
  • We are looking for someone who is methodical and detail-oriented, but also pragmatic. The objective is not to create unnecessary process it is to identify risk, catch important issues early, and help the team ship better software faster.

You should be comfortable working autonomously, communicating clearly in English, and collaborating with an international  team. You should also be comfortable challenging a feature or implementation when something does not make sense from a user, product, or quality perspective.

As Edda continues to scale, this position will also have the opportunity to influence how QA evolves within the company, including our testing strategy, automation coverage, tooling, release processes, and quality standards.
