And this is our QA Engineer role for those who want to turn ideas into reality using test scripts, automation, and maybe a little magic.
Tasks in the role
- Maintaining existing autotests and creating new ones.
- Testing UI and APIs manually.
- Working in a scrum team on two-week sprints complying with the scrum process.
- Active interaction with developers, the product owner, tech support, and others to improve the quality of their tools and company’s products in general.
- Participating in discussion of new functions and designs of new features. Also, taking part in building intra-team processes and interactions.
- Being responsible for product development at all times, starting from feature design to troubleshooting.
Who we are looking for
We think that this experience and competencies will help our future colleague to join the team.
- 1+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer.
- Knowledge of Java Core including lang, I/O, and collections.
- Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit, Selenide, and REST-assured frameworks.
- Experience in API testing.
- Experience in working with continuous integration systems such as GitLab CI, TeamCity, or Jenkins.
- Experience in working with bug trackers such as Jira or YouTrack.
- Good understanding of testing process organization.
- Ability to work with *nix shell at the level of writing simple scripts.
- Knowledge of English at the level of correspondence, as you will have to interact with our tech support team in the U.S.

- You have basic knowledge of SQL.
- Experience in web application security testing.
- Experience with Splunk and ELK.
- Experience in load testing.
A bit about the team
You can get to know the team better at one of the interviews, but some brief information about future colleagues will be useful now.
It's a new team in the company that is designing the Traffic Analytics product along with Maroon team. With the help of our product, users can find out where competitors’ websites are getting traffic from, analyze domains, and find points of growth for their own traffic. The project is challenging and exciting. As we want to keep developing the product and grow as fast as possible, we’re looking for a QA engineer to join our team.
In our team, we have 2 backend developers, 3 frontend developers, 1 QA engineer, a scrum master, and a project owner. Most of the team members are eager to learn juniors. We actively participate in our product development and do our best to impact its growth. Every sprint brings us a new knowledge and improves our skills. You will have to dive into the project independently and join our processes =)
