Windows System Engineer
About US:
We are looking for a Windows System Engineer with solid experience in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to join our IT operations team. In this role, you will contribute to the implementation, administration, and support of Windows-based systems and Microsoft 365 services. You will work closely with senior engineers and other teams to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Support the configuration and daily operations of Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD Connect, SSO, MFA)
- Monitor system performance and availability, and support incident resolution
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows and M365 platforms
- Execute operational tasks and follow established procedures for system maintenance and updates
- Contribute to automation efforts using PowerShell and predefined scripts
- Support security and compliance requirements in collaboration with senior engineers and security teams
- Participate in disaster recovery activities and testing when required
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in system engineering roles, with practical experience in Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience working with Windows Server environments and Active Directory in enterprise or mid-sized environments
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 services and administration
- Knowledge of Azure AD and hybrid identity concepts
- Working knowledge of PowerShell for basic automation and scripting tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 operations (user management, basic troubleshooting, service configuration)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and IT security basics
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
