We're looking for a Technical Support Engineer who enjoys solving problems and helping others. The ideal candidate is comfortable with frontend technologies, quick to learn new tools, detail-oriented, and genuinely friendly in their approach. Check out the product you'd be working on.
Working hours: 2 PM - 10 PM CET, Monday to Friday.
Job location: Remote / Serbia
Responsibilities
- Combining technical expertise with customer service to resolve questions and issues
- Handling escalations through to the end until a definite resolution is reached and presented to the merchant
- Maintaining organized notes on projects and ensuring they're presentation-ready
- Participating in all department standups and meetings that are relevant to their role and side projects
- Sharing ideas for improvements and helping implement them
- Active & continued participation with the product team
- Keeping API documentation up to date and making improvements
Requirements
- Experience with React, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JSON, and HTML5
- Familiarity with templating languages such as Jinja and Liquid
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to take direction, understand technical requirements, and follow through proactively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in technical support, helpdesk, or similar roles
- Basic understanding of APIs and how they work
- Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken

Radila sam u Bluegridu neko vreme i iskreno, ono što mi se najviše svidelo su ljudi. Ekipa s kojom sam bila je stvarno bila opuštena, bez ikakvog mikromenadžmenta i sa stvarno prijatnom, drugarskom atmosferom. Niko ti nije stajao nad glavom, što mi je baš značilo. Imala sam prostora da učim kada nije bilo posla i da radim na nekim stvarima koje su mene zanimale. Kancelarija je mala ali prijatna, super je za dolazak jednom ili dva puta nedeljno – više zbog druženja nego zbog posla. Ima i one male staklene sobice gde možeš da se zaviješ i radiš u miru, što je meni baš prijalo. Rad od kuće je ogroman plus i niko te ne pritiska da dolaziš. Takođe, privatno zdravstveno osiguranje je super stvar, to cenim kod svake firme.
Zamerke
Iako su mi kolege bile okej, moram da priznam da mi se nikako nije dopao način na koji HR i menadžment komuniciraju. Sve deluje kao neka lažna korporativna priča – "mi smo porodica", "uvek smo tu za vas", a zapravo osećaš da nisi deo tima, već broj u tabeli. Devojka iz HR-a mi je delovala kao da stalno ima skriptu iz koje čita, nikada normalna, opuštena rečenica, uvek neki prenaglašeni formalizam koji te više udalji nego što pomogne. Projekti brzo postanu dosadni jer se teško prelazi na nešto drugo. Ja sam radila na jednom zanimljivom projektu, ali čim sam poželela da istražim nešto novo – nije bilo šanse. Deluje kao da su svi putevi zatvoreni osim onog koji ti je od starta dodeljen. Bluegrid mi je ostavio utisak agencije, ne IT firme. Oni te zaposle za klijenta, i to je to. Nema tu razumevanja za karijerni rast ili neku dublju povezanost sa projektom. Klijent te plaća kao inženjera, ali si za njih samo "resurs", a za Bluegrid si samo "Srbije". Ako imate ambiciju, dodatna interesovanja ili želite da napredujete i istražujete šta vas zanima – ovo verovatno nije mesto za vas. Možda jeste za one koji vole rutinu, tihi rad od kuće i korporativni "fake smile" mindset. Ja sam se brzo zasitila i poželela nešto više.
