Your Role

As Team Lead IT Infrastructure & Network, you are responsible for the technical leadership, operational management, and continuous improvement of PWO Group's global infrastructure services. You lead a team of infrastructure specialists and ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of core infrastructure platforms across the organization. Working closely with the Director IT Operations & Service, you translate strategic objectives into operational solutions and drive the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and modernization initiatives. In addition to leading the team, you contribute hands-on expertise in architecture discussions, complex technical challenges, and critical operational topics. The role serves as a key link between day-to-day operations, infrastructure transformation, and long-term technology development.

Your Responsibilities Encompass

Infrastructure Operations & Service Management

• Lead the operation and continuous improvement of global infrastructure services
• Ensure availability, security, performance, and reliability across infrastructure platforms
• Coordinate operational activities across internal teams and external service providers
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and service issues
• Drive service quality, operational efficiency, and standardization across the organization
• Drive centralized management, monitoring, automation, and governance of infrastructure services across all locations

Infrastructure Standards & Technical Leadership

• Define and maintain infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps aligned with the strategic direction of the global IT organization
• Ensure consistency, supportability, and maintainability across infrastructure services
• Provide technical guidance for infrastructure projects and operational decisions
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend practical improvements
• Drive the evolution of hybrid infrastructure services and help establish cloud-native and cloud-agnostic operating models that balance scalability, security, resilience, and vendor independence

Infrastructure Projects & Transformation

• Personally lead major infrastructure projects and modernization initiatives
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects across networking, datacenter, cloud, identity, workplace, and infrastructure security domains
• Ensure successful execution through internal teams and external partners
• Balance transformation activities with operational stability and business requirements
• Track progress, manage dependencies, and resolve delivery obstacles

Team Leadership & Development

• Provide technical leadership for a team of infrastructure specialists
• Support prioritization, workload planning, and resource allocation
• Contribute to employee development, performance discussions, and recruitment activities
• Promote knowledge sharing, technical growth, and collaboration within the team
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

Security, Compliance & Operational Resilience

• Ensure infrastructure services comply with security, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Support initiatives related to vulnerability management, network security, access management, and platform hardening
• Strengthen backup, recovery, monitoring, and business continuity capabilities
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and operational stakeholders
• Drive the adoption of secure and resilient infrastructure practices

Vendor & Partner Management

• Coordinate infrastructure suppliers, managed service providers, and implementation partners
• Define technical requirements and service expectations
• Support procurement activities, vendor evaluations, and technical supplier selection
• Monitor service delivery and address operational performance issues
• Ensure productive collaboration across different sourcing and support models

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, network, cloud, or platform operations
• Proven experience leading technical teams, projects, or operational infrastructure environments
• Experience managing external service providers and technology partners
• Strong background in supporting business-critical infrastructure services within an international organization
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is beneficial

Preferred Knowledge

• Enterprise networking, WAN, LAN, wireless, and network security technologies
• Microsoft infrastructure technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365
• Hybrid cloud architectures and cloud service integration
• Virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring
• Azure Virtual Desktop, endpoint management, and workplace services
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management
• Identity, access management, and infrastructure security concepts
• IT service management and operational governance processes
