The Business Applications team at Malwarebytes delivers business solutions internally for all the business units within the company. Our Program Management Office (PMO) ensures that cross-functional requirements are understood and met. We are looking for someone who can help with a few of our most highly visible objectives around Information Technology (IT), Security, Risk and Compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with IT, Security, and business teams to deliver Security and IT focused projects
- Develop and manage project plans; identify resourcing, unpack requirements, and prioritize tasks to ensure objectives are met
- Collaborate across teams in IT, Security, and the business as on timely delivery of
- Assist team with documentation
- Consolidate project updates and prepare regular status reports
- Collaborate tightly with the BizApps PMO and other internal groups to understand requirements, provide expert advice on effort estimates and overall project feasibility, resourcing and ensure alignment of project with organizational objectives
Skills You’ll Need to Have:
- 6 + years of experience as a Senior IT Project Manager with experience leading small to medium cross-functional projects
- 3+ years of progressive Project Management experience using agile practices
- Demonstrated experience working with IT, Information Security, and/or DevOps teams to deliver complex technical projects on time
- Strong knowledge of Jira & Confluence and their use to deliver agile projects
- Tolerant of ambiguity and the flexibility to work well in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral), including the ability to present to executives
- Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of project management concepts
- Effective at building relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of Key IT and Security concepts such as IAM, Systems and Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, and Zero Trust
- PMI Project Management Certification (PMP) or equivalent certification
Nice to Have Skills:
- Agile certification and/or Certified Scrum Master or equivalent experience
- Previous experience managing projects for security and compliance such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA
- Previous experience managing data center and cloud migration projects
- Experience working in a PMO environment in a technology setting
- Familiarity with different software delivery lifecycle methodologies and product security
- Expertise with Smartsheet
- Vendor management experience
