We are looking for: Software Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- System administration and maintenance for stakeholder custom solution and other software tools (e.g. User management, Authorizations management, Background jobs management, Audit log management process).
- The Support Engineer will assist in managing projects along with reviewing the operational manual. The tasks include setting up an email, improving and developing IT infrastructure, and diagnosing systems.
- Continuous monitoring of systems, keep track of developments with the help of monitoring tools. Identify network issues and resolve them quickly.
- Daily communication with team members and vendors when required, provide all the necessary technical support to different team members to overcome any issues. Verbal and written communication skills required for communicating with employees in non-technical language and provide excellent customer service to users of various technical levels.
- Have strong troubleshooting skills, prioritize and work on client issues, be available to assist at any time even when one or more problems arise.
- SAP System administration and maintenance (e.g. User management, Change and Transport management, Authorizations management, Background jobs management, SAP Notes implementation).
- Monitor, analyze, and identify trends for system performance and resource utilization, analyze reports from the system or third parties and follow defined processes to solve the problem or escalate it.
- End-user support (1st, 2nd), root-cause identification and incident troubleshooting
- Maintaining good collaboration and communication with the clients
- Creation of documentation and Standard Operating Procedures
- Liaise and prioritize requests with end users and proactively resolve them
- Assist in coordinating SAP technical activities with 3rd parties to seamlessly implement change and formulating change requests to the newly implemented solution.
- Establishing and standardizing procedures and user instructions
- Planning and execution of quality assurance, applying of test procedures and standards
- Develop a strong understanding of client and industry business processes to provide SAP supported advice to clients
- Keen to learn and support new custom software solutions made according to the client's business needs
- Designing, testing, installing and monitoring new custom software systems
- Be genuinely curious and constantly striving to learn
About you:
- Technical background (preferred to have finished or final year of a technical faculty)
- Demonstrate a keen interest in SAP technology
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Your English is at an advanced level or higher – written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills, able to quickly develop relationships with all stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment

- Previous working experience in end user support domain, preferably in IT sector
- Experience with databases and SQL
- Strong analytical skills and step-by-step problem solving
- Independence in solving tasks and proactivity in giving suggestions for improvement
- Proficient in the use of MS Office specifically Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
