Description

We are seeking a motivated candidate to join the ATM Solutions Team that supports the UK and Ireland’s ATM estate of over 14,000 machines.

As a key member of the development team, you would contribute to projects helping in the development of our software builds, as well as the development of Postilion host configuration, downloads, and loadsets.

Alongside our project work, we respond to production issues, identify root causes, and deliver resolutions.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Develop scripts, applications, and software to deliver efficiencies through automation of installation, deployment, management, and monitoring processes.
• Actively assist with the development and maintenance of a continuous integration solution.
• Estimate and commit to delivery of project requirements.
• Participate in continuing process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and communicate with other IT departments, including PMO, QC, stakeholders, and customers.
• Author ATM technical specifications, software installation documentation, and user guides.
• Assess requirements and priorities to ensure delivery of the right product at the right time.
• Provide input on project constraints and dependencies, establish project acceptance criteria, and define quality goals.
• Support QC in the testing process, from the design and development of appropriate test cases to the resolution of reported software issues.
• Manage issue reporting, investigation, resolution, and deployment through JIRA and ServiceNow tickets.
• Support and resolve production issues forwarded by Level 3 Support, including the creation of hot fixes.
• Design and develop quality, object-oriented, testable source code if part of the assigned responsibility.
• Travel as required to support onsite activities, such as customer pilot installations.

Profile

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience in transaction processing platforms, especially Postilion, including download and loadset development.
• In-depth knowledge of ATM technology infrastructure, including ATM Terminal Software, NDC, CEN/XFS, ATM security, and the operation of ATM software platform management tools.
• Experience working with ATMs in a lab or production setting, having engaged in terminal software and hardware setup/troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows-based desktop solutions.
• Experience with Windows scripting languages, including Batch and PowerShell.
• Experience creating HTML pages utilizing CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience defining technical expectations, system requirements, and effort estimations for projects.
• Experience working according to a change management procedure and with a change management application, preferably ServiceNow.
• Experience writing technical documents for product releases.
• Ability to investigate reported issues, including estimated impact and scale, and provide resolutions.
• Experience working with desktop security solutions, preferably Trellix (McAfee) ePO.
