Together with them we are making a team and looking for a Software Engineer Functional Safety
To join our interdisciplinary team and help to extend and maintain a cutting-edge IT infrastructure for software development and deployment.
As a software engineer with passion for functional safety you are part of the software team and help us make automated driving safe by designing and implementing novel algorithms to cover the safety risks imposed by our core motion planning algorithms.
Your responsibilities:
- Design novel solutions to cover the safety risk posed by automated driving systems
- Develop safety-relevant software in C
- Take part in the generation of documentation for the certification of safety-relevant software, e.g. requirements, safety manual, test reports, etc.
- Help fostering a strong safety culture inside Embotech
- Close collaboration with product owners and other team members (agile methodology)
- Ensure the software meets high demands towards functional safety, performance and reliability
Your profile:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical/mechanical engineering or similar field
- 5+ years’ experience in development of software in C and C++
- Experience in the development of safety critical software (functional safety, ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508 or similar)
- Experience in requirements management for safety critical software
- Experience in regulated development processes such as ASPICE is a plus
- Experience in real-time systems is a plus
- Analytical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks, problems and environments
- Self-organized, solution-oriented, communicative team player with initiative
- Very good oral and written language skills in English
