The Software Development Director will be responsible for leading on software development best practices and involves the alignment of all development and delivery on software platforms (internally and externally supported) across Hyperoptic under a single department. The purpose of this department is to ensure that our systems support Hyperoptic' s roadmap to drive a vision of a 5* customer experience.
The role holder will ensure that we stay focused on initiatives that allow us to get to our North Star, teaming up with the right people so that the job can get done in the most effective and efficient way. Main objective will be to support the transformation of our IT estate and development ways of working whilst maintaining the deliveries on the current business roadmaps. The transformation of the IT estate will cover changes as defined by the new IT enterprise architecture which will require careful management of moving functionality and data between systems without impacting the business KPIs. The development around ways of working will cover the move from the current waterfall ticket delivery to a mix of Waterfall and Agile squad based delivery utilising DevSecOps principles and tooling. The key objective is to accelerate the build process to shorten time-to-market for best-in-class solutions whilst ensuring razor sharp customer-focus.
What will you be doing?
- Faster and more efficient delivery of software features (improved TTM).
- Alignment with the Head of Security to ensure the software development lifecycle fulfils the regulatory and security requirements
- Quality agile development with expanded use of external partners to break internal resource bottlenecks and ensure that the organization gets the best value.
- Emphasizing the importance of customer experience within the development process to ensure that CX is at the forefront.
- Delivering performance against an agreed set of clearly defined KPIs.
- Driving key strategic decisions towards a DevSecOps operating model.
- Ensure that all internal and external teams follow best practices and industry standards in software development and testing to deliver high-quality solutions.
What are we looking for?
- Managing software development and testing teams
- Experience in development, testing and/or ERP design and configuration within the telecommunications industry
- Experience in managing external software delivery vendor
- Extensive knowledge of best industry practices in development and testing
- Good knowledge and understanding of agile delivery methods
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, translate into business language and develop innovative solutions

Kancelarije su bile prijatne, dok su bili na Senjaku. Sada su prebaceni u Bigz. Neogranicena kafa, slatki utorak(budu mafini,knedle...), Cedevita.... Relativno OK kolektiv
Ljudi se guraju preko veze i poznanstva Uzasan menadzment sa pricom idemo,rastemo,uvek smo u plusu ali realnost nije takva. Posluju u minusu i gledaju da po X puta preprodaju firmu. Toliko odlicno posluju da su otpustili ljude u Engleskoj i Srbiji, zato sto se moraju dodatno smanjiti troskovi Velika vecina T.L i Head of sector-a su nekompetentni za tu poziciju, nego su dovedeni preko bratije,veza i vezica. Tako se i ostvaruje napredak. Mamini i tatini sinovi koji ajde konacno da rade nesto posto je sramota sedeti kuci, nego cisto da ide radni staz Vecina je nezadovoljna platama ali cute jer nemaju alternative... Osim par sektora ostalo je krs za neki dalji rad u drugoj firmi Njihova mantra: "Beyond expectation" preko tvojih ledja posto im ne pada na pamet da ti povecaju platu ali zato ocekuju da radis i budes "STAR". Jedino sto vredi da takva firma je i dalje na dobro glasu, i onda vidis kakva smo parizer zemlja. Pa pored svakog muljanja i dalje su super opcija.
