Software Developer

We are looking to hire a part time Software Developer that can help to support our current customer base and develop new system functionalities.

Initially this will be a part time remote role at 4 hrs per day but this can be reviewed after a 6 month period as workload is expected to increase.

Our product is a platform for delivering software to schools and the back-end framework is developed in SQL and Microsoft .NET with Azure Cloud hosting.

We are based in UK/Ireland and the hours would be 10am to 2pm local time (9am to 1pm GMT). It is important that the person be available and online during these hours as we use Chat for internal communication and would be busy typically during these hours.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Helping with day to day customer technical support.
• Requests come from our support department and you will be required to make necessary changes on the customers website. There will also be additional platform development.
• There will be weekly virtual meetings with KPIs and action points set.

Competencies needed:

1. Expertise in both Website Design and Development.
2. Experience with SQL, .NET and Azure.
3. Must be Fluent in English.
4. Good Time management.
5. Ability to work on own initiative.
6. Must be able to contribute to product/idea development.
7. Be able to document systems.

Skill(s) required:

• Frontend - HTML| CSS| JavaScript
• Backend - .NET
• DataBase - SQL
• Bootstrap
• JQuery
• Azure Cloud and Server Knowledge Advantageous

Qualifications:

• Proven Track record of creating Web Applications.
• Excellent knowledge of System Architecture, Technology, Database, and Algorithms.
• Strong understanding of the latest technology stacks and regulations required to build them.
• Minimum 1 years of Experience is required in Web/App Development.
