Description

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer, with wide ranging skills and experience to build out our automation efforts in a multiplatform game.

Requirements

What We Will Do Together:

Define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming features/releases. Working with QA leadership, producers, engineers, stakeholders, and designers, you will design, build, and maintain automation test harnesses and scripts from the ground up. Facilitate functional, qualitative, and performance testing efforts while using a mix of manual and technical testing skills to execute a variety of testing techniques across your product to analyse and report on quality.

Meeting with other disciplines to understand tasks and define expectations through story points.
Build automation efforts to support fast paced development.
Manually testing features as they are added to the game and as part of live service verification once the product is live.
Identifying risks and designing test plans to address those risks.
Speaking with QA Analysts about what parts of their features can be automated and teaching them how to interact with the automation systems and tools you will develop.
Root cause analysis on patterns and processes to eliminate pathways to defect creation.
Playtesting the product and offering design feedback from different perspectives and use cases.
Analyzing and troubleshooting reported defects with product, tools, or processes.
Interacting with product in multiple environments to determine scope and source of defects.

What You Will Bring:

Building automation test harnesses.
Experience using industry-standard engines such as Unity and UE5
Good split between manual and testing experience.
Scripting smoke and regression tests.
C++, Kotlin, C#, Python
3+ years in games automation and manual testing.
Testing on multiple platforms (PC/Mac, console, mobile)
At least 1 shipped title
