SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER

Your key responsibilities
- Provide technical services and support for the following areas:
- Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure
- Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL,...
- Virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft
- Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notification
- Work escalated support issues related to Microsoft’s core business solutions, WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, and remote access solutions.
- Perform network assessments, security audits and new client consultations
- Work with Sales Team to Engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients
- Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure
- Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
- Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution
Function Description
- Design, implement and migrate server infrastructure
- Integration of this infrastructure in the remote access solution
- Write technical documentation to support the design
- Ensure 3rd level support (advanced troubleshooting) related to the products you manage
- Provide consultancy on projects
- Capacity Management of the infrastructure
- Follow-up of the monitoring of the infrastructure
- Deliver operational handbooks, disaster recovery handbooks

- Mandatory
- Knowledge of Citrix is a nice to have (XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler Access Gateway, Storefront, License servers, PVS)
- Good knowledge of RDS Products (RDS Gateway, RDS session hosts, License server)
- Good knowledge of the Windows Server Operating system
- Good knowledge of Hypervisors: Vmware
- Knowledge of Powershell scripting is nice to have
- VPN connectivity troubleshooting and configuration (Sonicwall, Fortigate)
- Knowledge of WAN Technology (MPLS, VPLS, VPN)
- Excellent command of spoken and written English language
