Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer based anywhere in Europe to work on our innovative social intelligence & text analytics platform, listening247®. Aspects of this job include designing, developing, testing, and deploying new cutting-edge software solutions to help further advance our web platforms. Requirements:

• Having a great fit with the DMR company values
• Experience managing full-life development cycles 
• 6+ years of experience in web development with Python/Django
• Strong HTML/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript skills
• 4+ years of experience with cutting-edge React apps
• Proven experience implementing API based architectures (SOA, micro-services)
• Experience writing high-quality unit tests
• Working knowledge of Postgres and Elasticsearch
• Strong working knowledge with both NoSQL (2+ years of experience) and SQL (3+ years of experience) databases
• Record in building modular, reusable, and well-documented code
• Hands on experience with Git workflows in an agile environment 
• Experience designing and deploying REST APIs in production
• Experience deploying services on AWS
• Experience and/or interest in building a modern SaaS platform, including progress of user onboarding, engagement, analytics
• Github account with publicly available code samples
• Professional experience with enterprise architecture and developing highly scalable websites/services will be considered an advantage

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with a dynamic team of software engineers to realise web-based platforms
• Developing web applications/platforms for market research, CX measurement and other use cases
• Developing backend services and APIs for Big Data harvesting and reporting
