Senior Snowflake Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our data team. As a Snowflake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using the Snowflake cloud data platform. You will work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and implement efficient data models and ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expertise in Snowflake data modeling and ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing best practices with data warehouse and ETL concepts
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from Azure Data Lake and other various sources into Snowflake.
• Optimize query performance by analyzing query execution plans, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing tuning strategies.
• Monitor the health and performance of Snowflake databases, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system configuration.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Document the Snowflake data infrastructure, data models, ETL processes, and other technical aspects.
• Stay updated with Snowflake features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve data processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer, with a strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and features
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies, preferably Data Vault 2.0 
• Experience in working with debt tool
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, and PowerShell can be beneficial
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory
