Senior Security Engineer - Knowledge Lab Team

Our Swiss partner Knowledge Lab is a consulting, software development and data science company founded in 2016. While Switzerland remains the focus of the Zurich-based company, the firm is currently extending its service provisioning to banking customers across Europe.

The key to this success is the company’s interdisciplinary and highly experienced team of around 40 staff that continuously develop novel solutions at the forefront of bank transformation and constantly research and implement new approaches and IT ideas in its own laboratory.

Due to strong growth and market potential, Knowledge Lab is extending its own 20-member team in Belgrade which will be fully integrated with the Zurich-based team.

To this end, together with our partner we are looking for a: Senior Security Engineer

We are looking for a full-time Senior Security Engineer having a strong project experience with all security aspects related to digital transformation projects and solution integration. As a Senior Engineer you will support our clients in designing, developing, or assessing security solutions according to their requirements. For this purpose, you will be part of an experienced and interdisciplinary team with strong banking and engineering skills.

Your responsibilities:

• Analysis, design, and implementation of IT security solutions for our customers.
• Security assessment of IT solutions
• Collaboration in digitalization projects with focus on security aspects.
• Definition of security requirements in the areas of web security, containerization, cloud and data protection on projects
• Analysis and resolution of technical issues
• Design and implementation of prototypes
• Support for sales activities such as effort estimation and demonstration

Your profile:

• Computer science degree (Uni, FH, HF)
• Deep understanding of the technology stack and its security concepts (ISO-OSI Network Model, PKI, TLS, Firewalling, etc.)
• Solid experience with IAM and WAF platforms (certification an advantage) as well as Application Integration concepts with e.g. SSO, SAML, 2FA
• Experience with vulnerability assessment systems
• Expertise with Cloud and Container (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) technologies
• Willingness to travel and work with customers in Switzerland and internationally in the short and medium term
• Can-Do attitude
• Independent, communicative and responsible personality, with an analytical mindset
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
