As a Senior React Native developer, you will be working with Europe’s leading veterinarian care provider with 1500+ clinics across eleven countries in Europe with the mission to create happy owners of healthy animals. We have a wide range of technologies and products all with the purpose to create great digital services for our customers. Your responsibility will be the external websites targeting pet owners, veterinarians and clinic owners. As a member of our team, you will be working on the development of our line of software for Animal Health Care. The developers are autonomous and have great responsibility and freedom to find the best solutions possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will

• Have a leading role in the development, architectural design and implementation of our React Native app
• Be a part of a development team that has full responsibility for the app, the backend and integrations. We work agile and you will be part of the full journey of development and maintenance of the product (find the best way to solve a problem, write requirements, develop and help the team to assure quality).
• Work in close collaboration with Chief Technology Officer and Product Owners
• Work on group-level which means that you will work with our digital platforms in several European countries.
• Be an important developer in our engineering team.
• Build new apps, add new modules and functionalities to existing systems as well as inventing new smart ways to improve the digital journey of the company.
• Will work with our React Native app(s) used by our end-consumers and extend the functionality to reach new target groups, offer more functionality and offer possibilities for our co-workers to use the app.
• Improve and streamline processes for deployment of new apps and assure releases with as little friction as possible

REQUIREMENTS:

You have at least 6+ years of experience in software engineering and have a good understanding of software development with a focus on the JavaScript stack. We think you are experienced in building web applications as well as applications for devices.

• Senior to expert level with React Native
• Senior to expert level of JavaScript
• Senior to expert level of releasing apps to Apple Store and Google Play
• Senior-level experience with React/Redux
• Experience with using Node
• Experience with Rest services
• Experience with HTML5
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication/presentation skills in English
