We are looking for a senior Python / Django developer to take over the existing codebase, maintain and expand the product and the team around the product. Source code is well maintained and well documented. You will be responsible for moving forward with the product development, ensuring best quality, code practices, making architectural decisions related to scalability and growth.
What you will be doing:
- Owning the product holistically.
- Designing, implementing, and documenting medium to large-sized features.
- Creating feature implementation roadmaps.
- Collaborating with the team.
- Conducting extensive code reviews.
- Maintaining and enhancing the product and its infrastructure.
- Improving observability.

- Has practical experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Your Tech skills & experience:
- Senior / Architect level experience working with Python.
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming.
- Understanding of computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, computability, and complexity.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and building highly scalable systems.
- Familiarity with code testing tools.
- Experience with Python and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of Django or other Python web frameworks.
- Familiar with Relational Database Design (PostgreSQL experience a plus).
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
- Familiarity with Docker, Gitlab CI/CD and GitHub.
