Senior PHP Full Stack Developer

For our partners from US company FieldFlo we are looking for Senior PHP Full Stack Developer from the Balkan region. This remote position, offered under a B2B contractor agreement, is part of the established Serbian development hub.

FieldFlo is an international SaaS platform based in Denver, Colorado, focused on supporting asbestos abatement, demolition, and subcontractor businesses. The Serbian team plays a vital role in developing and maintaining this innovative platform, streamlining construction operations, and revolutionizing project management.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a PHP Full-Stack Developer with a strong DevOps background at FieldFlo, you’ll play a key role in developing, optimizing, and scaling our applications. Collaborating closely with our development and product teams, you'll ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems while delivering high-performance, scalable solutions.

This role is ideal for a self-starter with a startup mindset, passionate about solving complex problems and continuously improving development processes. Your work will include:

• Develop new features from start to finish, contributing across the development lifecycle.
• Dedicate 80% of your time to hands-on development and 20% to quality assurance and optimization.
• Maintain and improve existing features for efficiency and relevance.
• Quickly resolve bugs to ensure product stability and user satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack PHP development. Design, develop, and optimize scalable web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter 3), JavaScript (jQuery), HTML, and CSS (Bootstrap is a plus).
• Enhance application efficiency by optimizing SQL queries (MySQL, Postgres, NoSQL).
• Work with AWS services (EKS, S3, SQS, RDS) to ensure scalable, cloud-based deployments.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to streamline infrastructure management.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, FluxCD, and ArgoCD for automated testing and deployments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like LOKI, Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, and Sentry.
• Experience with Node.js, React.js, and Python (a plus)
