Position Overview

The Senior Network Analyst is a highly experienced IT professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures the optimal performance, security, and stability of all network systems, including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. The Senior Analyst serves as a technical expert, leads complex projects, and provides mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Implementation
  • Design, plan, and deploy complex network solutions that align with the organization's evolving needs, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  1. Performance Monitoring
  • Proactively monitor and analyze network performance, conduct network capacity planning, and optimize network traffic to identify and resolve potential issues before they become critical.
  1. Advanced Troubleshooting
  • Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve complex network incidents, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime.
  1. Network Security
  • Implement, manage, and audit network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard the network from cyber threats.
  1. Project Leadership
  • Act as a technical project lead for small- to medium-sized network projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure projects are completed successfully.
  1. Documentation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical resolutions.
  1. Team Mentorship
  • Guide and mentor junior analysts, providing expertise on technical standards, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  1. Research and Development
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging network technologies, evaluating and recommending new products and solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Language: English Level B2 or better
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is generally preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level network support and administration.
  • Certifications: Professional-level network certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), are strongly preferred. Other relevant certifications include CompTIA Security+ and Network+.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep expertise in networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
    • Proficiency with enterprise-class network hardware, such as Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
    • Experience with network monitoring and management tools like SolarWinds or Wireshark.
    • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and cloud networking (e.g., Azure).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
