Senior Manual QA Engineer (On-site)

Job Description

The team is looking for a QA Engineer. You will play a critical role in developing test cases and establishing QA processes and standards. Upon joining, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Leading further adoption and maturity of test processes, QA metrics & reporting
• Implementing techniques and methods to identify and prevent software regressions
• Managing requirements traceability and tracking feature completion using test cases captured in Azure and JIRA Test Plans / Test Suites
• Creating test cases for new functionality based on user stories and acceptance criteria
• Creating and reviewing bug reports and sharing quality metrics with team and stakeholders
• Identifying bugs, application weaknesses and target areas
• Maintaining test case code quality as per set guideline and standards
• Participating in agile ceremonies
• Reporting progress to Scrum Master, Tech Lead, and Product Owner
• Collaborating with Design, Product, Developers, and other QA’s to solve problems and resolve bugs

Requirements

• 4+ of experience as a QA engineer
• Strong experience with functional testing, UI testing, API testing, and regression testing
• Familiar with frontend frameworks such as React.js
• Experience with open source
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum
