We’re looking for a Senior Laravel Developer to join our team and help us build, improve, and scale the systems behind our e-commerce business.

You’ll work on real-world applications that handle products, vendors, orders, pricing, integrations, and large amounts of business data. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, influence technical decisions, and work on systems that directly impact the business.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Laravel Developer, you’ll be involved in the full development lifecycle — from architecture and technical decisions to implementation, optimization, and maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Laravel/PHP applications
• Taking ownership of new features and larger development projects
• Designing scalable and maintainable application architecture
• Building and integrating REST APIs and third-party services
• Working with MySQL, including database design, complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization
• Developing both back-end and front-end functionality
• Investigating and resolving complex technical and production issues
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and improving application speed and reliability
• Working with large datasets and data integrations
• Reviewing code and helping maintain development standards and best practices
• Working closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to turn business requirements into technical solutions
• Estimating development work and helping break larger projects into manageable tasks
• Contributing to technical and architectural decisions
• Improving existing systems and gradually modernizing legacy code where appropriate
• Supporting the reliability, security, and scalability of our applications

What we're looking for

Required

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on Laravel experience
• Strong understanding of PHP and modern object-oriented programming
• Strong knowledge of Laravel fundamentals and ecosystem
• Solid experience with MySQL, including database design, optimization, indexing, and complex queries
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and make sound technical decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js, React, or another modern JavaScript framework
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Redis or other caching systems
• Experience with event-streaming/message-broker technologies
• Experience with queues, jobs, events, and background processing
• Experience with Docker
• Experience working with Linux servers
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with automated testing, such as PHPUnit or Pest
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms or large product/catalog systems
• Familiarity with application security and common web security practices
