Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and take a key role in the development of our e-commerce platform. You’ll primarily work with a modern React-based frontend and a robust Node.js microservices. In addition, you’ll support and gradually modernize some of our legacy systems built with Angular (2+) and AngularJS.

This is a high-impact role within a collaborative, friendly engineering team committed to building clean, scalable, and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full stack web applications.
  
• Build new features and enhance existing functionality in our React-based frontend.
• Contribute to backend development using Node.js, Express, and/or NestJS.
• Support, maintain, and refactor legacy code written in Angular and AngularJS.
• Optimize front-end performance for responsiveness, speed, and accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define, design, and deliver features.
• Maintain coding standards, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep experience with React.js, including hooks, state management, and performance tuning.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js, Express, and/or NestJS.
• Working knowledge of both SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
• Solid grasp of modern CSS practices: responsive design, Flexbox, CSS Grid, and BEM.
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Angular 2+ and/or AngularJS.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of popular CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material UI, or Chakra UI.
• Experience collaborating directly with UX/UI designers to implement polished user experiences.

Contract Details

• Duration & Availability: Full-time contract position for a long-term engagement.
  
• Location: Remote candidates are welcome, with some flexibility for team meetings across time zones.
