Role Overview

As a Senior FrontEnd Engineer on our TrustX SaaS platform, you will design and develop user‑facing interfaces that power both customer‑facing experiences and internal back‑office tools. You will work closely with UX designers, architects, backend engineers, DevOps, mobile teams, and service delivery managers to build scalable, modular, and reliable front‑end applications.

We’re looking for strong engineers with broad systems understanding, not just pixel‑perfect implementers. You should know how front‑end components fit into a cloud‑native SaaS architecture, how to integrate with distributed backend services, and how to design UI modules that are flexible, maintainable, and easy to evolve.

A major part of this role is helping shape and advance a pluggable, micro‑frontend architecture, enabling teams to ship UI functionality independently and reuse common components across multiple products.

You will also be expected to adopt AI‑assisted development (GitHub Copilot, AI-driven UI scaffolding, test generation, etc.) to improve speed and quality.

What you will do:

Frontend Development and Collaboration

• Build modern, responsive, and accessible UI applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Implement complex workflows, dashboards, forms, and interactive features for both end‑user and back‑office user experiences.
• Integrate UI components with backend services through REST APIs, authentication flows, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design‑system compliant elements.
• Design and implement modular, decoupled front‑end components that can be embedded, swapped, or extended without impacting other services.
• Help define standards for micro‑frontend boundaries, routing strategies, shared assets, and inter-module communication.
• Work with architects and backend teams to ensure seamless integration across distributed services and environments.
• Use GitHub Copilot to accelerate coding, test generation, documentation, and boilerplate creation.
• Participate in the adoption and refinement of AI‑driven workflows for front-end development.
• Help the team continually improve how AI is used for productivity, quality, and maintainability.
• Optimize UI performance (rendering, load time, caching, virtualization, batching).
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards).
• Work closely with QA leads to ensure reliable, production‑ready features.
• Partner with designers to translate UX wireframes into high-quality, maintainable implementations.
• Collaborate with backend and API teams to shape contracts, define data flows, and identify integration risks early.
• Support service delivery managers to ensure smooth releases, environment readiness, and predictable front‑end deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Support occasional troubleshooting efforts for complex defects or production issues.

What you have:

• 5+ years building production front‑end applications for enterprise or SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript/HTML5/CSS3
• Proficient in React, React Router, React Query, Nx, Vite, Styled Components, MUI, Storybook, WebRTC
• Strong understanding of component lifecycle, Context API for shared state management and building clean, maintainable component architectures
• Experience designing modular or micro‑frontend architectures.
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end system flows.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication flows (OAuth2/OIDC), and front‑end build pipelines.
• Experience with component libraries, design systems, CSS frameworks, and responsive design principles.
• Practical exposure to GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, bundling tools, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving ability and comfort navigating complex, distributed systems.
• Willingness to use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, AI‑assisted documentation/test writing) as part of daily engineering work.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent real‑world experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with identity, authentication, secure UI patterns, or privacy-sensitive interfaces.
• Familiarity with mobile‑friendly web frameworks or cross‑platform approaches.
• Experience with analytics instrumentation, telemetry, or real‑user monitoring (RUM).
• Knowledge of accessibility (ARIA, WCAG) best practices and tooling.
