Senior Food Regulatory Specialist

A global service provider of Knowledge Intelligence in the area of Regulatory Compliance for the Food, Cosmetic and Chemical industries is looking for a Food Regulatory Specialist. Successful candidate will be part of Selerant’s Regulatory and Scientific Affairs team, which provides services and regulatory solutions to a worldwide customer base, focusing mainly on the food & beverages industry.

We are looking for Senior Food Regulatory Specialist.

A highly motivated person, agile and easily adaptable who should:

• Has at least 2 years of experience in food law / regulatory affairs or 3 years in R&D / quality in a food (or food related) company
• Minimum 2 year of specific international food law in depth experience or minimum 3 years of working exposure to national food law processes, with knowledge of quality and product development principles.
• Possess general knowledge of food laws and regulations, in different areas – including hygiene, chemical and biological safety, food contact materials, food quality, food manufacturing innovation process.

Technical skills:

• Food Regulations (Additives, Contaminants, Flavors, Labelling) – good

Soft skills:

• Team working
• Time management
• Verbal and written communication

Language skills:

• English – Fluent – mandatory
• Basic knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian – preferably

Specific skills /competencies (must have/nice to have):

• Presentation Skills - good
• Excel – good
• Previous exposure to PLM is a plus
• Previous exposure to PLM software and IT solutions or familiarity with software development life cycle is a plus
• Previous experience in team coordination or project related experience is a plus

Education Expertise:

• University degree in Food Science (preferred); Chemistry or Biology related field acceptable

Responsibilities include:

• Database maintenance for assigned target countries
• Documents analysis and data collection projects
• Delivers consulting reports by engaging with external professionals and authorities
• Collects and reports team time allocation and activities on a weekly and monthly basis
• Supports regulatory software implementation projects
• Contributes to food law content creation (news and webinars)
• Trains and supports compliance cloud customers and prospects
• Participates to trainings and global meetings
