Senior Backend Developer (Go)

The Role

You'll be a key engineer on our real-time backend - the services that connect haptic devices to video, keep everything in sync, and let multiple users share the same experience. Day to day that means working with our proprietary haptic protocol, building signal pipelines, device orchestration, and integrating third-party hardware into a single platform.

What You Will Do

• Design and evolve our proprietary haptic protocol - the core communication layer between devices and the platform.
• Make sure device feedback stays perfectly in sync with video playback.
• Work on the haptic signal pipeline - real-time signal routing from connected devices.
• Build the backend for multi-user experiences - shared sessions, presence, real-time state across devices.
• Integrate third-party hardware into our platform via a unified API, so users can bring their own devices or just use ours.
• Keep our streaming and broadcasting services running fast and reliable, even under heavy load.
• Work closely with Frontend, WebXR, Unity, and hardware teams to ship things end to end.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong production experience with Go.
• Solid knowledge of Postgres and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on work with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Strong understanding of real-time systems (low latency, WebSockets, event streaming).
