Leanapy is a VC-backed Fintech start-up that helps consumers to pay for consumer goods in installments. Leanpay is creating an ecosystem that enables consumers to pay overtime for every important purchase frictionless and easy in any shop, eliminating the need to use a classic credit card or personal loans. Consumer financing is the hottest trend in Fintech with total investments of over 500m USD in the last 12 months, and Leanpay is aiming to be at the forefront of that trend in Europe. Our multidisciplinary team, made of experienced professionals from retail, banking, and financial software development, allows us to create a solution that brings additional value to our network of shops and their customers. With offices in Ljubljana, Zagreb, and Belgrade, we are looking to expand our team in order to scale our solution across Europe.
Your contribution:
Working with a team on product development focusing on Scrum framework education, agile thinking, and practices. Leading internal and external communication, improving transparency, and building team trust. Nurturing company culture and spreading it throughout the organization as well as supporting developer's initiatives for any kind of improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Guide development teams to higher Scrum maturity
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
Requirements:
- Scrum Master certification
- 2+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, XP, etc.) is a plus
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or a similar field is a plus
