Automotive Consulting Team is looking for an SEO Specialist to help reach and grow our audience of Do-It-Yourself automotive enthusiasts and auto parts buyers.
As an SEO Specialist, you will play a key role in driving SEO initiatives to meet business objectives. You will be an integral member of the Digital Marketing Team, as we seek to achieve greater SERP visibility/prominence across search verticals.
The ideal candidate has solid, hands-on experience in both technical and content SEO strategies and uses their strategic expertise to directly help our eCommerce websites grow high-quality web traffic and increase conversions.
As the SEO Specialist you will be responsible to:
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies across our suite of automotive eCommerce websites
- Identify content gaps and opportunities across search verticals to gain greater Share of Voice or SERP visibility, optimizing content as appropriate
- Ensure content marketing initiatives account for SEO goals as appropriate, and executed in line with SEO guidelines and best practices
- Work closely with content writing resources (both internally and externally) to produce high-quality, research-backed content in line with SEO strategy
- Direct off-page optimization efforts including link-building campaigns
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution across all web properties
- Perform SEO assessments/audits of websites, including technical site components, content strategy, and competitor analysis
- Track progress of deliverables and action items, keeping relevant stakeholders in the loop
- Create weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to all stakeholders
- Work with developers to implement technical SEO deliverables

- Working on WordPress websites is a breeze for you
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a high tolerance for ambiguity
- You are biased toward action and are proactive; you take a lot of initiative but are continuously collaborative
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional SEO experience. The eCommerce industry experience is a big plus.
- A problem solver with the ability to translate data into a results-driven long-term strategy
- Experience in building and executing comprehensive content marketing strategies
- Strong experience with Google Analytics, GTM, and Google Search console
- Strong written and communication skills are a must
- Familiar with best practices for technical SEO components such as schema, canonicals, Core Web Vitals, and XML sitemaps
- Experience with SEO platforms and tools (e.g. Moz, WebCEO, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CMS, JS and how they can affect SEO
