The ideal candidate should have the following abilities:

• University degree in organization, computers, informatics, or electronics
• Familiarity with project management methodology (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
• Experience in leading and managing system integration projects will be considered an advantage
• Project management certification is a plus
• Good knowledge of activities, procedures, and legislation in the public sector
• Good communication skills, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented project management environment
• Self-motivated and ability to learn from professional literature
• Ability to present information concisely and identify key issues clearly
• Analytical skills and creativity and innovative attitude
• Fluency in English
• 3+ years of proven project management experience

Project Manager responsibilities:

• Assists with the preparation of the Project Management Plan (PIP) and other key documents to support the project
• Assists with the creation of the Annual Project Plans (APPs) and schedules for the project and its components for the approval of the Director of Business Development and Director of Operations
• Assists with the development of the overall budget for the project as well as for project components and conducts budget reviews and analyses in conjunction with the Business Development Department and Operations
• Assists with the implementation of finance and accounting, records management, communications, feedback, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks are effectively established to facilitate project start-up and to support the project to completion under the direction of the Head of Project Management
• Establishment of sustainability and project exit strategies from the inception of the project
• Interfaces with project contractors, and keeps track of their deliverables
• Interacts with and supports the project team members in the execution of the project components
• Prepare regular reports to assist the Head of Project Management to track the progress of project components to ensure schedules and deadlines are being met
• Identify project issues and possible solutions and bring them to the attention of the Head of Project Management for action
