Part-Time Security & Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a Security & Compliance Specialist to ensure our cloud platform and migrated workloads meet the rigorous standards of the financial services industry. You will be the guardian of our security posture, translating technical controls into compliance evidence. In this role, you will maintain security policies, conduct risk assessments on new workloads, and coordinate audits. You will work to embed security by design, training migration teams on how to correctly consume platform security capabilities to meet regulations like PCI-DSS and GDPR.

Location & Contract Type

Location: Remote position open to candidates in the Europe.

Contract Type: This position is open for candidates interested in Business-to-Business (B2B) contract position in countries in Europe. Please note this is a contract role for approximately 3 years, part-time.

What Will You Do?

• Maintain and improve security policies and controls across the platform.
• Perform compliance validation, prepare for audits, and support internal/external security audits.
• Conduct risk assessments on new workloads and track mitigation actions.
• Provide security and compliance training, focusing on correct consumption of platform capabilities.
• Interpret technical controls for Windows/Linux into compliance language.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in security or compliance roles.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR, internal banking policies).
• Strong security assessment and risk management skills.
• Familiarity with AWS security and logging services.
• AWS Security Specialty certification or similar is an advantage.
