PHP/JavaScript Developer

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced full-stack PHP/JavaScript developer to work on existing projects in a small team.
Required skills and knowledge:
- 5+ years PHP;
- MongoDB;
- Linux shell;
- JavaScript;
- PhpStorm (code refactoring, debug);
- English upper-intermediate;
- Self-motivated, remote work experience;
This is a full-time remote job with fixed working hours and monthly compensation: every day, M-F 8 hours a day with holidays and vacations; Communication is via skype, telegram IM and emails; We have b2b projects related to online dating. Must be comfortable with explicit adult content.
You will:
- work on developing new parts of the projects, solve technical and user problem;
- work with existing code a lot, use debuger to understand it, refactor and modify;
- maintain your local dev environment: virtual box with linux installed, web server, database.
- test code and changes yourself, including integration tests. You will need to learn other parts of the project;
- work with large databases (millions of records);
- receive tasks as screencast videos explaining what needs to be done, create screencast videos when needed showing new implemented features and changes;
- communicate with other teams and ask a lot questions first few months;
- you will need stable internet connection and powerful PC able to carry virtual machine and PhpStorm;
Examples of tasks and problems:
- data aggregation and processing: create reports and data dumps, work with arrays, lists and mongodb;
- create front-end tools (forms, lists, widgets - JS);
- API integration on both client and server side;
- network and server issues resolving, work with logs, create logs;
- create and setup server-side background script;
- communicate with customers and other teams using IM messengers and skype to clarify problems;
