PHP Laravel Developer

Pallet Connect is looking for a talented PHP Laravel Developer to support our development team and deliver client-facing projects.  

We are a Canadian company and just recently launched our application but growing quickly and looking for extra help.

We have a simple goal to be the standard ERP cloud-based operating system for the global pallet manufacturing industry.

We are seeking an experienced developer who can apply analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex, coding problems.

The correct individual should have a passion for coding, works well within a team and has expertise in User Experience driven applications.  

The ideal candidate would be able to manage their own time to meet deadlines. They should also be able to think outside the box and problem-solve independently.  

In this role you will be able to experience working for a fast-growing startup as we continue to evolve our software eco-system and our global reach. 

You will be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our applications.


  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization. 
  • Build out features for our applications while collaborating with project managers.
  • Create and maintain feature requests and plans and ensure timely delivery of these features. 
  • Prioritize workloads and coordinate schedules.


  • You will need to have the skills to design overall architecture of web applications.
  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages PHP (Laravel)
  • Proficient experience using JavaScript and CSS libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap and various MVVM Frameworks
  • Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
  • Understanding of server-side languages including PHP.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Experience with an RDBMS will be required

The correct individual must be able to work remotely as we do not have an office in Serbia at this time.

Be a self-starter, able to use his/her own initiative to get things done and passionate about technology.

Good design skills would also help and great English language skills are essential.

This position would initially be a six month independent contractor agreement.
