PHP Developer (World of Warships)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а PHP Developer (Web team) to work on World of Warships in our brand-new Belgrade office.

World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.

The Web team is responsible for the development of the Game Portal, forum, various core, and meta-mechanics services, and other game-related web projects.

What will you do?

• Support for existing projects;
• Development of new high-load web services for World of Warships Franchise;
• Development of small game prototypes on the web;
• Integration of new technologies and improvement of development pipeline;
• Integration of web projects with other project services of our studio (game, platform, and others).

What are we looking for?

• Experience in native application development in PHP 8 + PostgreSQL;
• Experience with Git, Composer, Docker;
• Ability to independently design complex software architecture;
• Understanding patterns and when to apply them (and when not);
• Knowledge and experience in JS development (React);
• Advanced Russian.
