NodeJS Developer

We are looking for a NodeJS Developer to work on an existing development team with backend experience. The developer would be joining an existing team building high performing backend components and services as part of a larger platform architecture, serving various products and applications. This is a full-time, work from home position, working for a US Based client of Cyrillic Software. We are looking for self-motivated and hardworking individuals who want to grow their career utilizing modern technologies and best practices.
The NodeJS Developer Position will have the following responsibilities:
- Work with an existing Agile team in all aspects of the SDLC
- Create, document, and understand software/system requirements utilizing Agile best practices
- Work with peers, testers, and operations to test and validate working software
- Design and implement secure and scalable software solutions
- Participate in requirements discovery and analysis
The ideal candidate should have most of the following skills:
- Designing and developing multi-tenant and scalable RESTful API Services
- Knowledge and understanding of common micro services architecture patterns
- Understanding of web and networking protocols, load balancers, gateways, and cloud services
- Experience with different types of database and persistence mechanisms including RDBMS, SQL, and NoSQL technologies
- Desire and ability to learn new technologies and systems
- Excellent Verbal and written English Communication Skills
The following experience is also desired, but not required:
- Understanding of Unit Testing and Automated Testing Best Practices and Concepts
- Understanding of CI/CD and Automation best practices
- Understanding and experience with Data Processing, Batch Processing, and Messaging technologies
- Experience with container-based technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
