Responsibilities
- Administrating, maintaining and supporting business SaaS applications and IT equipment;
- Establish and maintain an inventory of IT assets throughout the organization;
- Assist in inventory management, procurement and shipment activities;
- Install and configure software and hardware on different platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux);
- Set up user accounts for workstations & notebooks;
- Technical support ticket monitoring and creation on internal Service Desk platform;
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
- Troubleshoot issues and outages on IT equipment and SaaS platforms;
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls;
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models;
- Seek to identify and propose business and procedural improvements, both within the own department, and based on root cause analysis in the operational groups;
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies;
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network administrator or similar role;
- Familiar with ITIL or Agile methodology;
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management;
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery;
- Familiarity with various operating systems and SaaS platforms;
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude;
- Excellent communication skills;
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus;
