We need to hire Medior Data Engineer with relevant experience with Databricks, Python , Azure Event Hub, Kafka, Apache Druid, Apache Storm and Microsoft Azure ecosystem for data migration project.
Requirements and Skills
- 4–5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Data Engineer, with strong hands-on experience in Databricks and Python.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and data processing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with streaming and event-driven technologies, particularly Azure Event Hubs and Kafka.
- Experience with real-time data processing and analytics technologies, including Apache Druid and Apache Storm.
- Experience in the development and migration of data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, ideally within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering/Computer Science/ Relevant Field
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Budapest
- English B2
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Java for analyzing and understanding existing solutions and legacy code.
- Experience in the field of web analytics.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and DataOps practices.
- Experience in migration projects and agile working methods (e.g., Scrum).
This is a long-term, full-time hybrid position, requiring 2–3 days per week from the office in Novi Sad, with occasional business trips to Budapest (up to 5 days per month).
