Junior Full Stack Developer

efiport GmbH is a subsidiary of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and has been an innovative provider of technology-supported education solutions in Germany for more than 20 years. Our small office in Novi Sad has a major role in the development of our software solutions of one of the most prestigious universities in Europe and has been operating since 2021.  

We are now looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join our development team and help us build scalable AI solutions using a modern hybrid cloud stack. In this role you will work directly with our current team to develop features, maintain existing applications, and integrate business workflows across Azure, AWS, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who knows the basics of Python and React and is eager to get hands-on experience with enterprise-grade cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using React (Next.js and TypeScript),
• Assist in developing RESTful APIs and backend logic using Python,
• Help deploy and monitor serverless functions and resources on AWS and Azure,
• Work on automating business processes by integrating our applications with Microsoft 365 services,
• Participate in code reviews, write clean and documented code, and troubleshoot bugs with the team. 

Must-have qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field,
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and logic,
• Experience with Python for scripting or backend development,
• Basic familiarity with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+),
• Understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases,
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub,
• Ability to read technical documentation and communicate effectively,
• Excellent English language skills (spoken & written, the company language is English). 

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript,
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (even if just for personal projects),
• Knowledge of MS365 or Power Platform,
• Experience with Docker or basic CI/CD concepts,
• German language skills.
