Junior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.

What will you do?

• Build frontend applications with frontend development best practices;
• Transform app designs into frontend code with HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design; 
• Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations;
• Learn how to write high-quality, scalable and reusable code;
• Actively keeps current on industry trends, actively improves, and acquires new skills.

What skills do you need?

• Graduate degree or senior year students from Technical Faculty, preferably ETF, RAF, FON, FTN and Faculty of Mathematics;
• Understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds;
• Understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3;
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX;
• Familiarity with frontend build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js;
• Familiarity with code versioning tools;
• Understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS, etc will be considered as a plus;
• 1+ year of frontend development experience will be considered as a plus.
