Junior Data Analyst
Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who will share our passion to contribute to a better online world. You will join our Customer Retention and Loyalty team and become responsible for our customers. We are a customer-centric team starving for excellent customer experience and delivering set financial and customer targets.
This role will support our Senior Data Analyst on the Customer Retention and Loyalty team, using a broad set of analytical tools to derive insights from transactional, customer, and product data.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, numbers-oriented, and sales-driven with a strong sense for what makes a good customer experience. He/she will also be able to tell a customer story in numbers, knowing how to convey key insights.
We expect the successful candidate to have a degree in a quantitative field and at least 2 years of experience in a relevant position. Fluent English is required.
Key responsibilities
- Ad-hoc analyses of existing communications, focusing on key sales metrics and their impact on customer satisfaction
- Help preparing and running A/B tests
- Help with preparation of reports, create visuals and charts that help tell the story
- Analyze customer data at different stages of the customer journey to identify key trends
- Focus on country differences and anomalies
- Understand customer experience and product flows
- Work with other data experts (engineering, BI) to ensure that our data quality is good, and enhance the data as necessary
Skills & Abilities
- Experience with SQL
- Good (ideally advanced) Excel skills
- Google Analytics and Power BI skills
- Strong analytical skills/thinking
- Fluent in English
- Passionate about data and analytics
Desirable
- Interest in online business and evolving new AI technologies
- Experience of working in an e-commerce/digital sales/CVM environment
- Experience working for a global company in a role that interacts with geographically dispersed teams
